Lock in your blogger

Originally had my blog on Blogger, then found that it does not have folder or label function. Gave it a search and realized that I am not the only one asking for it. It has been put in the next version of Blogger -Blogger Beta.

As a lazy one, I like the easy way to modify the template and the ease to update the site (no need to do publish in blogger, cool!) Adding components to the right column is simple. The only trade-off at the moment is to customize the template in codes. Again, I am too lazy to concern about modifying the code. To some of the others, it may be an issue.

It was problem free so far until the next morning. I tried to login to blogger beta on another computer. I was on Blogger Beta homepage and did a login. Opa! I was in the old Blogger! Obviously I could not see my blog in the Beta. Logout and tried again, it was the same. Read the instruction at the login page. Found that I can login either with my blogger ID or google account ID. Hmm... since I have my blogger ID the same as my google ID, it can explain why I keep getting back to the old Blogger. Now, the question is how can I login to the Beta? I came up with a quick solution. That's to login to my gmail account. With my gmail session open, go back to the Blogger Beta site. Opa! I was not even asked to login and I can see my blog in the Beta.

Yes. The solution is stupid, but it works. If you have a better way to do it, leave me a comment.
